This magical piece is designed to bring out your inner fairy! A charming sterling silver artisan cast fairy centerpice is adorned with a wire wrapped tanzan aura quartz crystal and an assortment of rainbow sparkling iridescent dichroic glass beads (created by a private top glass artists)!

Do you ever...

Do you ever look at your pets and just get all sappy about how lucky you are to have them? I know that people do this all the time with their human children.  I usually do this with my guys in the morning when they are eating their morning veg.  After I put it out I just watch them and think about how beautiful they are. (The dog already got his morning kiss and went outside to use the bathroom--he's usually very insistent as soon as he see's signs of life in my bed). Once I let Cecil out, the "wheeeek wheeeek weeeee want veg" chorus starts.  They are all very considerate though...they always wait till I'm up. :) So that's what I'm up to this morning...thinking how lucky I am to have these funny, cute, beautiful creatures in my life!

I'm so glad I finally went out to the fall version of the Tucson Gem Show this year. True, it was much much smaller than the one that takes over our whole city in January/February...but still I came away with incredible treasure-whimsical fairies, sparkling beads that are just impossible to describe...look like they are from another world, moldavite, white moldavite, citrine, black tourmaline, iolite, confetti sunstone and some lovely quartz.  Some of the new things should start showing up in Puppy's shop late this evening.  here are some fun photos for those of you who have never been to one of these...they are overwhelming but fun!

Missing Tammy..

I dreamt of my friend Tammy last night. I dream of her every now and then. She is always in distress in my dreams, and they are vivid. She was my best friend when I lived in Bisbee a couple of years ago. I realized when I woke this morning that she died in September two years ago, now. Time flies. I try not to remember the actual date of her death..I prefer to remember her birthday, which was Valentines Day (soooo Tammy)! She was 38 when we lost her. I did everything I could to change her path, but people can only shift their own paths-one of many things I learned from knowing her.

Anyways, I felt her around so much this morning. And then, sure enough, one of her odd little signs came. The song I associate with her crossing over is Moby's, "God Moving Over the Face of Waters" came on. (its a powerful piece...click here if you want to hear it ..it takes it a bit to build up, buts its lovely).

Sometimes I think she tells me to take the leap and open myself more to what I am able to do. So many things hold me back, including my very well science educated brain....wondering when I will fully take the leap. There is never any turning back with things like that. Miss you Tammy!

PS- while I was finishing this up, a psychic who works at a local resort called me and asked me to be in her intuitive development class this October...said she will even trade me for jewelry making classes. She really wants me to attend it-says she is picking people with rough talent. Click click click go the steps in my life when something is supposed to happen. OK, I give in :) for now. I'm a bit stubborn.

Off to the Tucson Fall Gem Convention this Morning

Every winter, the entire city of Tucson Arizona is taken over for about 3 weeks by the largest gem and mineral convention in the world. I have grown to be quite spoiled by this...a wonderful thing! Today I am going to the mini version of it for the first time--the September showing with only 3 or 4 sites as opposed to 30. I'm hoping to go through all of the sites today, as I have piles and piles of Christmas preparation work to be done plus a post op piggie (Gideon, in the picture left with his swollen neck before they removed all the infection) who needs lots of cuddles! I'm hoping to find some nice enhydros and phenacite for the Christmas rush. Nice Dioptase is always welcome in this house! I wish I could bring the doggie dog, but he hasn't had his neutering done yet (oh, how I still struggle with doing that to him) and he has the most vulgar habit of trying to lift his little furry leg and mark everything. Can't take that beast anywhere!!! sheesh! Wish me luck today!
