Two month's ago we rolled out our new and improved Cute Pet Pix contest where you and your friends get to vote for your submission (can vote every hour if you are determined to win)! 

Here's how it works: Each month, Puppy's mommy will list a new crystal or gemstone creation as the give away prize. As cute pet pix are submitted, they will be added to the white voting poll widget on the right of the blog for everyone's viewing and voting pleasure! You can size up your competition and if you are really determined you can come vote every hour! The voting closes on May 31st, at 11:59pm Pacific Standard Time. Whoever has the most votes at that time wins the prize!


To enter and win you must:

1.) follow this blog
2.) live in the US.
3.) submit a photo entry of your pet via email (JPEG file) with the pet's name, your name, mailing address and permission to post your photo on this blog. Entries may be submitted via email to puppylovejewelry@rocketmail.com .

Puppy's one cent auction ending tonight: angel aura quartz & moonstone sterling wire wrapped pendant!

This little treasure is a one cent auction ending this evening with free shipping! It hasn't bid up very high at all! One cent auctions (they start at one cent and people bid them up to the price they are willing to pay) are a fun way to get yourself something nice for way below market cost!

Sterling silver is sculpted around a rainbow sheen Angel Aura Quartz crystal!  A cascade of blue flash rainbow moonstone briolettes dangle from a sterling chain! A Swarovski crystal and miniature cultured pink fresh water pearls add charm! 

Angel aura quartz (also called opal aura quartz) is created when a layer of platinum is alchemized to the surface of a quartz crystal, giving it a beautiful rainbow finish and enriched metaphysical energies.

The pendant measures just over 2 inches long, from sterling bail to crystal point.  The moonstone briolettes dangle down to 2.5 inches.  The unwrapped crystal measures 34mm long by 6mm wide.  There is cyan-blue fire present in the moonstone briolettes when illuminated from the right angle! Hoodwin the Guinea Pig, enjoying his carrot!

I woke this morning to discover that our Director of Security here at Puppy Love Jewelry, Hoodwin the Guinea Pig, had snuck out of his pen in the night. I heard his little footsies pitter-pattering all around under my bed. I used a fresh carrot with the top on to lure him out and promptly took some photos of him eating it as I was overwhelmed by his cuteness!

Of course, Puppy became extremely jealous and immediately demanded his own treat, which I promptly gave him-his favorite, raddichio:

Well, this problem has plagued me for years. Actually, I have never been trick-or-treating in my entire life as I had a very hard and strange childhood and then never had human children as an adult (yes, I have thought of taking the Husky or Puppy the Guinea Pig, but have never followed through!).

Well, I recently saw a video that demonstrates the perfect solution to this problem..I'm gonna do it this Halloween! So funny...enjoy!
